Details to add for a Boho Wedding

We recently had a lovely couple that added their unique bohemian style to their wedding day, and we ABSOLUTELY ADORE IT. So, here are some items Natasha & Nick used, that you might want to consider for your wedding day:

  1. Think Wild: Flowers

We liked the idea of incorporating different types of greenery like amaranths and ivory leaves onto Natasha´s bouquet to give it a wild look, along with roses, and the result was truly lovely. It looks just perfectly imperfect:

Another great way to incorporate flowers into the reception in a non-traditional way is to have several vases in different shapes and sizes, with a mix of different flowers on each of them.

  1. Headpieces & flowy fabrics are a must

You cannot think about bohemian without adding headpieces for the girls. There are many ideas out in the market: from jeweled headbands to color laces. Our favorite? Natasha’s choice of floral crowns not only for her but her daughters too.

Boho is a about having an effortless look, so for outfits: white shirt and kakis for the groom and think about lace, organza, crochet, embroidery and fresh flowy fabrics for the girls combined with accessories and you’ll be on the right path.

  1. Go barefoot

As a laid-back couple Nathasha & Nick wanted the same for their wedding, so Natasha’s mother in law knitted these beautiful barefoot sandals, which are not only BEAUTIFUL but go so well with our beach ceremony.

  1. Mix It Up

Bohemian is also about having an eclectic look; adding different textures and colors on the wedding décor, but having some key elements that stand out:

  1. Get in touch with nature

Last but not least, an important thing for bohemian couples is to be surrounded by nature on their wedding day, so they are looking for non-traditional venues that add a wonderful backdrop to celebrate their union. This goes from a farm, to a beautiful garden, a vineyard or a stunning beach wedding:
